Two to twenty on the books

Software for mobile bars, caterers, hire companies and entertainers

Owner-operated, mostly casual staff, somewhere between 50 and 400 events a year. You have outgrown remembering everything and you have not grown into hiring someone to run systems.

Mobile bars

Packages, drinks the client picks from, RSA-qualified crew, a load-in and a pack-down.

Catering

Menus, dietary requirements, final numbers that move, staff on site.

Hire companies

Equipment out and back, a delivery window, a crew to install it.

Entertainment and production

A call time, a crew, a run sheet, gear that travels.

Not just bars

A date, a site, a crew, and gear that travels.

Nothing about bars is built into the software. What your clients choose from is a catalogue you define, and the checklist every new event starts with is one you write. A caterer, a hire company and a bar run on the same thing, configured differently.

It does not fit

Three businesses we would send somewhere else.

  • Freelancers who never roster anyone If it is only ever you, Solo will run your bookings — but a freelancer invoicing tool is cheaper and may be all you need.
  • Venues with a function room Your problem is a room diary. That is a different product and there are good ones.
  • Dry hire If none of your own people go to the event, half of this is wasted on you.

Saying this up front costs us a few sign-ups and saves you a month of trying to make it fit. If you do fit, here is what it actually does and how the crew side works.

Not sure which one you are?

Tell us what you run. If it is not a fit we will say so.
